Clubuplifter Terms & Conditions (Updated)

Welcome to Clubuplifter, a free platform dedicated to helping football and sporting clubs manage memberships, promote events, and grow their legacy. By using www.clubuplifter.com, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

2. Definitions

 

    • “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Clubuplifter.

    • “You”, “User”, “Club”, “Donor” refers to any individual, organisation, or business using the platform.

3. User Accounts & Signup

 

    • Users must create an account to access full features of the platform, including event uploads, club profiles, and donation-based supporter tiers.

    • Accounts are created through WordPress and integrated with WooCommerce for donation processing.

    • Users must provide accurate, up-to-date information and are responsible for maintaining account security.

4. Services, Pricing & Donations

Creating a Club Uplifter account is completely free, with no hidden fees or platform charges. You may close your account at any time, with no obligations.

BRONZE DONATION
o Total: £5.50 per Month
(£5 goes directly to the Club & 50p to cover our costs)

 

SILVER DONATION
o Total: £11 per Month
(£10 goes directly to the Club & £1 to cover our costs)

 

GOLD DONATION
o Total: £22 per Month
(£20 goes directly to the Club & £2 to cover our costs)

5. Payments & Billing

 

    • Donations are processed via secure WooCommerce-integrated payment gateways.

    • Recurring donations may be managed or cancelled by users through their account dashboard.

    • Payment failure may result in the pausing of associated benefits until resolved.

6. Refund Policy

 

    • Refunds are available within 14 days of the initial donation, in line with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations and EU Consumer Rights Directive.

    • Refunds will not be granted for partial use or for recurring payments past the 14-day window.

    • To request a refund, contact info@clubuplifter.com with proof of donation.

7. User Obligations


Users must not misuse the platform or upload any unlawful, offensive, or misleading content.


Donors and clubs agree to use the platform responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws in the UK, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland.

8. Data Protection & GDPR

 

    • Clubuplifter complies with UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and the Data Protection Act 2018.

    • Data collected via donations, sign-ups, and club pages is handled with strict confidentiality and may be accessed, updated, or deleted upon request.

9. Intellectual Property

 

    • All Clubuplifter branding, platform design, and features are the intellectual property of Clubuplifter.

    • Clubs and donors retain ownership of their uploaded content but grant Clubuplifter a license to display and promote it.

10. Limitation of Liability

 

    • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from platform use.

    • In no event shall our total liability exceed the total amount of donations made by the user within the past 12 months.

11. Termination

Users may terminate their account or cancel donations at any time.


Club Uplifter may suspend or terminate access for breach of terms or unlawful activity.


We may retain account data for up to 6 months after termination for legal and operational purposes.

12. Changes to These Terms

 

    • These Terms may be updated periodically. You will be notified of significant changes via email or platform alerts.

    • Continued use of the platform constitutes agreement to any revised terms.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

 

    • These Terms are governed by the laws of:

       

        • Northern Ireland, for users based in the UK or Northern Ireland

        • Republic of Ireland, for users based in Ireland

    • Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in your region.
